Why we exist
Another police wife and I started Upholding the Line in 2021 to be a way that we can encourage the community to learn more about the hard work and dedication that goes into keeping our streets safe, as well as do more to support the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and relational health of officers and their families.
We know from experience the unique challenges that individuals in the Law Enforcement Community are subjected to. Crazy hours, forced overtime, repeated trauma, knowing there is always a layer of danger and unpredictability during each shift, and feeling incredibly burnt out are all very taxing to the officers and their family members. Too often, community members do not seem to realize or appreciate the sacrifices that officers make to keep citizens safe in their own homes. We believe that we can have a stronger, healthier community if we can increase public knowledge and appreciation for police officers as well as encourage and support our officers to keep doing the important job they do.

We are so thankful for our men and women that are on the thin blue line!
